Landon Cook
Landon Cook is a passionate film maker from Layton, Utah who has been holding a camera and yelling at people to act since he was 10 years old and someone was stupid enough to give the kid a camera. His professional career in film started with shooting high school sports highlight videos, and weddings just out of high school where he was mostly self-taught. At age 19 he served a 2 year LDS religious mission in the islands of Micronesia and upon return he enrolled in film school at Salt Lake Community College. He got involved working on movie sets for the LDS Church as a Production Assistant in the Salt Lake and Provo areas and has had the opportunity to work for and learn from such Directors/Cinematographers/Producers as: T.C. Christensen, Kent Findilay, Bryan Rowland, Byron Kirkland, Trevor McDonald and Aaron Merrell. He is currently a part-time employee of the LDS Church in the Film and Video section of the Publishing Services Department where he feels blessed to interact and learn from amazing artist while taking part in profound and impactful film making. He met Mason Hendricks in film school and co-started Cook n' Hen Video Production company hoping to establish himself as a free-lance film maker and get his work seen. He someday hopes to become a Director of Photography and make movies the inspire and empower people for good.
